A quick 10-minute omelette bread recipe.

I first cooked this quick and easy omelette bread recipe when I was living in a hostel. With limited ingredients, no patience to cook, and the constant hunger of student life, this omelet bread became my go-to meal.
It was the perfect solution when I needed something warm, comforting, and fast, especially on days when I had no other option to cook. To this day, it remains a favorite whenever I'm short on time but craving something satisfying.
Omelette Bread Recipe Ingredients
2 eggs
2 slices of bread
Salt (to taste)
Butter (about 1-2 tsp)
Chili flakes (to taste)
Let’s Get Started
Prep: Crack the eggs into a bowl, add a pinch of salt and chili flakes, then whisk them well until combined.
Butter the Pan: Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the butter and let it melt, coating the pan evenly.
Toast the Bread: Place the bread slices in the pan and let them toast lightly for about 30 seconds to 1 minute on each side. Remove the bread and set aside.
Make the Omelet: Pour the whisked eggs into the pan, swirling it to spread the egg mixture evenly.
Add the Bread: While the eggs are still soft, place the toasted bread slices on top of the eggs, pressing them gently so they stick to the egg.
Flip: Once the eggs are cooked on the bottom, carefully flip the entire omelet with the bread so the bread is on the bottom and the eggs are fully cooked.
Serve: Fold the omelet over the bread if you want a sandwich-like effect or serve it open-faced.
Tadaa! A quick and easy recipe—perfect for when you’re out of time but need some relaxing, cozy food.
