Comforting Vanilla & Mango Milkshake with a Hint of Love
This is an easy recipe that even beginners can effortlessly prepare.

I’m from Konkan, where mangoes are more than just a fruit—they’re a part of our soul. As soon as summer arrives, the market overflows with the golden goodness of Hapus mangoes.
Every year, without fail, my father brings home dozens of them, a tradition that fills our home with the sweet scent of sun-ripened mangoes. And no matter how many he buys, a special portion is always set aside just for me. It’s his quiet way of showing love, knowing that these mangoes fuel my appetite and my creativity as I experiment with new ways to enjoy my favorite fruit.
Mango Milkshake Ingredients
1 ripe mango, peeled and chopped
1 cup of cold milk
1 tablespoon of rose syrup for a delicate floral note
1 scoop of vanilla or mango ice cream
2 tablespoons of condensed milk
1 tablespoon of sugar (adjust according to your sweetness preference)
A handful of ice cubes
Mango Milkshake Recipe
Place the ripe mango pieces in a blender, pour in the cold milk, drop in a scoop of vanilla ice cream, add two tablespoons of condensed milk, 1 tablespoon of sugar if required, and blend.
Once blended, pour the milkshake into a tall, beautifully decorated glass lined with rose syrup. Garnish it with diced mangoes, a generous scoop of ice cream, and a sprinkle of dry fruits on top for that perfect finishing touch.
I recently tried this recipe with my cousin as we were on a mission to experiment with the dozens of mangoes overflowing in our home. We spent the afternoon together, hunting for new ways to make the most of our favorite fruit. Laughing, blending, and tasting along the way, we turned the kitchen into a little workshop of sweet creations.
