Prawns fry recipe is an easy recipe that takes around 20 minutes for preparation. It can be served as a sider with main course or with drinks. This is a loved recipe at my home, me and my brother jostle with each other to get those extra pieces of prawns. However, he does succeed all the time. Ah, the good old days! I barely get time to spend at home anymore, and now he gets to enjoy all the prawns without any competition.
Prawns Fry Recipe
Ingredients
Tiger prawns.
Red chili powder.
Turmeric powder.
Kokum extract, lemon or vinegar.
Salt.
Semolina.
Ginger-garlic paste.
Oil.
Recipe
Devein and wash the tiger prawns thoroughly. Drain excess water.
Prepare a mixture of red chili powder, turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste, kokum extract and salt.
Evenly coat each prawn with this mixture.
Cover them with semolina.
Pour some oil into a frying pan, bring it to a temperature and place these prawns on the frying pan and fry them till they are crispy golden brown.
Serve it with rice and fish gravy or with lemon wedges as a sider with drinks.
